Faith Community Nurse (Parish Nurse) Education Series
Foundations in Faith Community Nursing

On February 19,20, 26, 27, and March 4, St. Peter’s Episcopal church opened their doors to Parish Nurse Ministries of New York, Inc. Seven Registered Nurses, from different faith traditions came to attend the “Foundations of Faith Community Nursing” course. This course enables them to practice in the American Nurses Association recognized specialty practice of Faith Community Nursing. Following the Thirty-eight hours spent at St. Peters, the class attended the weekend retreat portion at Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora, March 11-13. Their dedication ceremony, with vows was held on March 13th.
