Congratulations to Bertha Davis, Susan Gagne, and Susie Gatewood as they were Commissioned as Faith Community Nurses on October 28, 2023. Welcome to the Parish Nurse Ministries of New York, Inc.!

These Registered Nurses attended a several-week online course on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. They have each successfully met the completion of the Foundations in Faith Community Nursing course sanctioned by the Westberg Institute through the Spiritual Care Ass.

Foundations of Faith Community Nursing is a 36.5-hour course focusing on entry-level knowledge necessary for the FCN practice. Its sections include spirituality, professionalism, Wholistic health, and community. Thank you to our outstanding Instructors Yvonne Askew, Sherry Pomeroy, Loralee Sessanna, and Diane Cox. They donate their time and talents to our nurses and our organization.
