Ann Marie MacIsaac MAPM, MSN, APRN, BS has been selected, as 1 of 10, to serve on an ANCC Content Expert Panel. She will assist in setting the Standards for the ANCC Faith Community Nursing specialty certification by Portfolio. Her first meeting will take place in Silver Springs Md. August 3rd-5th.

On June 12th, 2013, the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the Health Ministry Association (HMA) announce a new Board Certification program for Faith Community Nurses through a portfolio method. Individual Nurses MAY chose this optional process. The hope will be to promote excellence within our specialty. The Faith Community Nursing certification is targeted to launch in 2014.
