Congratulations to all the Faith Community Nurses of Parish Nurse Ministries of New York, Inc.! We have a SOPHI! Several members, Athena Tucker-Bowker, Amos Acree, Cindy Phillips, Mary Catherine Kennedy, and I attended the P2 first annual Spotlight on Population Health Awards. We were nominated within the Niagara Co. category. We did let them know that we are active in all counties of WNY today and during our process of submission. Thank you to Athena for writing a letter to P2 after our nomination, attached. For those of you that don’t know much about p2, I’ve attached some information. We also submitted fun facts, our mission statement, pictures, map of our areas with zip codes. I’ll try to have these available at the conference.

The process began with a nomination from someone within Niagara Co., we don’t know who nominated us. We were thrilled to tie as winners with Niagara Co. Family and Children’s Service of Niagara. There were over 100 organizations nominated from all the counties.

We’ll have our plaque and star displayed proudly at our conference. Good work PNMNY, Inc.! Shalom!!!
