Mary Jean Kraengel was honored with the Network of Religious Communities 2019 Religious Service award at Samuel’s Grand Manor on June 13th, as the Parish Nurse Ministries of New York, Inc. nominee.

Health issues have been part of Mary Jean Kraengel’s life since 1991. This has not prevented her from continuing to work as a dedicated Registered Nurse and with retirement, moving on to Faith Community Nursing at Our Lady of the Rosary RC church in Hamburg.

Her Ministry includes “keeping tabs” on her parishioners through support, rides to church, acting as a chemo coach and just being there to listen, and so much more, “I love my Patients”. Mary Jean also promotes the practice of Faith Community Nursing to RNs, Physicians, and others!
